Sia Mirchandani
Sia has spent her career doing one thing exceptionally well: seeing children for exactly who they are. As a special educator, she kept noticing the same beautiful truth, children who were bright and capable in ways no report card could measure, simply waiting for someone to teach them in a way that actually fit them.
That passion led her to train widely, across special education, dance movement therapy, hypnotherapy, and counseling, building a rich toolkit for reaching every child from whichever angle works best for them. Hopestone is where all of that comes together: a place built by someone who believes therapy and education belong in the same room, and every child deserves to be met exactly where they are.
Sia holds a postgraduate degree from SNDT Women's University, is a trained practitioner in Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and serves as a trustee at the Yash Charitable Trust, contributing to inclusive initiatives across Mumbai.
Embedded Learning
Education, therapy and life skills aren't separated into different rooms or different hours, they're built into the fabric of the day.
Multi-sensory, always
Every activity engages more than one sense, movement, touch, sound, because that's how our learners retain and generalize skills best.
Structured, not rigid
Predictable routines give children a sense of safety, inside which there's real room for play, curiosity and individual pace.
Family as partner
What happens at Hopestone is designed to continue at home: consistent language, consistent strategies, shared progress.
Care built around the whole child.
Personalized learning
A plan built around each child, not a one-size curriculum.
Expert team
Educators, therapists and specialists working as one team.
Supportive environment
A nurturing space that fosters growth and independence.
Parent collaboration
Consistent learning experiences at Hopestone and at home.
